KPRC-TV 2, a Graham Media Group-owned NBC affiliated station in Houston, TX, is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, results-oriented Account Executive to join our Sales Team. We're seeking someone with a passion for helping clients grow their businesses through innovative multi-product sales strategies.
As an Account Executive Trainee/New Business Development, you'll have the opportunity to learn and assist in crafting custom marketing solutions tailored to local businesses' needs. You'll work closely with our seasoned professionals to achieve sales objectives and budgets for television and digital platforms.

JOB EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom marketing solutions that help drive the success of local businesses using a consultative approach 
  • Achieve Sales Objectives/Budgets for Television and Digital
  • Identify and nurture relationships with C-Suite level executives
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a pipeline for new business opportunities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Eagerness to learn with a minimum of 1-year sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability or aptitude to cultivate new business and meet sales revenue goals
  • Exceptional written, oral, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Ability to lead all facets of the new business sales cycle including prospecting, needs analysis assessments, research, strategy and marketing recommendations, client presentations, reporting and renewals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications & Salesforce
  • Experience with Wide Orbit preferred
  • College degree preferred
  • Maintain reliable transportation for sales calls
