It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they are doing! KX News is hiring a part-time Lifestyle show Assistant/Co-host for our weekday lifestyle show, Studio 701. Join us in bringing fun, creative and interactive stories to our communities.
JOB EXPERIENCE
- Assisting producers with writing show segments
- Interviewing show guests/clients both in-studio and on location
- Collecting information, video or photos at remote locations for post-production
- Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations.
- Researching show topics and developing questions for guests in coordination with the producer
- Participating in events –either station-sponsored or others – to promote the show
- Maintaining the Studio 701 Lifestyle shows social media accounts and assist with writing Lifestyle Show digital content as directed by the producer for the station's website
- Provide hosting contributions to the Lifestyle show as needed
- This position is part-time for 25 hours per week
REQUIREMENTS

Requirements & Skills:
- Video introduction is required
- Written article experience required
- Social media management and digital business marketing experience required
- Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines
- Must be energetic, positive and great in a team environment
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team
