As the Digital Content Producer, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering engaging content across all of our station's platforms, setting the tone for our viewers' day ahead.

JOB EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:

Produce and edit content for various platforms, from broadcast television to our station's digital channels
React promptly to breaking news events, gathering elements, crafting television / web stories, and composing pushing alerts with a sense of urgency.
Utilize social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and more to enhance viewer engagement and drive traffic to our digital properties.
Set up live streams for web and social media, ensuring seamless coverage of live events.
Research and supplement news stories with additional information to provide comprehensive and accurate coverage.
Review and edit web posts for errors in content, grammar, and punctuation, adhering to Associated Press editorial style.
Leverage social media and web presence to strengthen our station's brand recognition and audience reach.
Contribute ideas for local and trending stories during editorial meetings, aligning with our brand identity.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, English, or a related field.
Proficient in writing news stories for various platforms, with a strong understanding of Associated Press style.
Experience with newsroom tools such as ENPS, desktop editing software, and web design principles.
Familiarity with digital applications including CSS, Flash, OBS-streaming, and basic HTML preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and respond positively to feedback.
