DESCRIPTION

WSIL-TV is looking for a part-time Newscast Director to join our team.  

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with live directing, strong communication skills, excellent computer skills, the ability to make fast, accurate judgments, problem solve, and can be a leader in a studio environment.  Must be willing to learn and adapt to changing technology.

JOB EXPERIENCE

This important position is responsible for directing, quality control, and appearance for our on-air product. This position is a key part of our newscasts. In addition to directing, other duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Variable hours and days should be expected including night, weekend and holiday shifts.
