DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an energetic team player who understands the flexible schedule that the broadcast industry requires to join our production crew. This person will be responsible for operating cameras, teleprompter, audio-board, graphics and video equipment; as related to live broadcasts and post-production, Tricaster experience is a plus.  Must have good technical skills, and good communication skills. Responsibilities include floor directing, camera/studio operator, digital editing (Final Cut X & Adobe Suite), assisting the news department, and other duties as assigned. Work with the Traffic Department on logs and commercial spots, station graphics and Master Control.


JOB EXPERIENCE

Experience preferred.


REQUIREMENTS

Television production assistants need to be organized, proactive, show initiative, good I.T. skills and communication. They should have a keen eye for detail, be happy to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, as well as numerate and very flexible. Technical Directing and overall studio production background is key factor to this position. You must be a Problem Solver as technical skills are a MUST! Therefore, trouble shooting is key when wearing multiple hats. Communication, communication, communication!

20-25 hours per week, including weekends.
