JOB EXPERIENCE

This internship is available to recent graduates (6 months – 1 year post graduation) with a degree or suitable coursework in journalism. Mature and professional conduct expected. Must be available to work 32 to 40 hours a week.

Internship pays City of Chicago Minimum Wage.

REQUIREMENTS

The intern learns the duties of a TV news writer. Write scripts for newscast, edit video using non-linear desktop editing system, and communicates closely with reporters, producers and editors.
