DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY: Provides sales support and is involved in selling activities associated with all station projects with our television stations and digital assets. As a key member of the Sales team, the Sales Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and sales efforts of multiple sponsorships that creates traditional and nontraditional revenue. The SPC will be the stations subject matter expert on all projects and will work both independently and in conjunction with the Sales Team to achieve project revenue goals.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Project & NTR sponsorship sales lead and station subject matter expert
- Sports Sponsorship development and sales lead for multiple high level sports franchises on our NBC, FOX and ABC Television stations
- Report to and partner with Sales Managers to meet and exceed all Project and sponsorship revenue goals
- Be an effective partner with the sales team in generating prospects, strategy development & operations support while creating value to the overall operation of TV and Digital
- Execute go-to-market sales strategies and tactics for each project that result in exceeding personal and company revenue targets
- Work with multiple Departments within the station to coordinate project fulfillment
- Establish, maintain and grow meaningful client relationships that help grow our business
- Generate new Sponsorship, Project and Sports Sales from new and existing clients that sometimes will be in coordination with other Sales members and on your own
- Be an effective educator and ambassador both internally and externally on the benefits of Sponsorship, Project and Sports marketing for clients
- Meaningful contributor in sales meetings on all Project, Sponsorships and Sports marketing
- Be an effective closer with Sales Team and on your individual business
- Consistently communicate with clients and provide Proof of Performance for all clients monthly
REQUIREMENTS
Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of sales administrative procedures and systems such as MS Office Powerpoint, Excel, Word and other office procedures. Ability to learn multiple software applications.
- Inside and outside sales skills.
- Ability to assess needs of stations/clients/team members and provide solutions.
- Problem-solving and deductive reasoning is required to accomplish tasks.
- Clear and concise communications both through writing & presentation skills.
- Effective use of time is very important in this position along with being a self-starter
- Skills in Graphic Design and production is a plus.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Some travel and extended work hours will be required. A valid driver’s license, state mandated automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record are also required
