POSITION:  Account Executive –  KSNT, KTMJ, KTKA, CW & KSNT.COM

Sell 4 Broadcast TV stations in Topeka, KS. We need a business development executive who wants to help local business owners grow their operation. You will provide marketing solutions from 4 TV stations and ksnt.com. Are you an entrepreneur? This is a great opportunity for someone just starting a Media Sales career, switching sales careers or for a seasoned Media Sales veteran looking for a change. We need someone with a winning attitude and passion to succeed. Be able to understand relationships and communicate internally and externally across the organization. Be skilled at creating & delivering presentations in front of large groups and one-on-one with key decision-makers. Candidate must be able to adapt to new technology, exhibit strong writing and verbal communication skills, be an organized planner and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Identify, develop and expand existing and new client relationships. Work with clients to uncover their needs and develop creative solutions that grow businesses using our media portfolio.                                            

                                                Communicate various stages in sales cycle to management including account updates and weekly projections. Keep up to date on all station and digital product lines and programming features including those of competing media.

 

                                                Negotiate advertising rates and  schedules along with preparing creative written and oral proposals to clients. Responsible for achieving Sales Budgets, reporting and collections.

JOB EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:           Bachelor’s Degree preferred with emphasis in Business, Marketing, or Communications. Television, Cable or Radio advertising sales experience with an understanding of ratings is a plus but not required.

You must have excellent computer skills and ability to learn multiple software programs.
