JOB EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must have experience managing a
complex news operation. You need at least 5 years of news
management experience. An undergraduate or graduate degree in journalism/communication or related field is required.

REQUIREMENTS
As Assistant News Director you must be a master motivator and proven leader. You will work closely with other news managers and staff to produce compelling stories that matter to the viewers we serve. Excellent communication and time-management skills are a must. A strong can-do attitude with a commitment to teamwork and excellence are the cornerstones of what we’re looking for in the next Assistant News Director. In addition to day to day supervision of the news staff you will assist the News Director with budgets, hiring, reviews, critiquing of the news product and digital strategies. We’re looking for a team player who’s committed to the growth of all our news platforms and has a reputation for winning!
