DESCRIPTION
WXIA has an immediate opening for a part time fill in traffic anchor.
This person will manage all on air and online traffic reporting, including operating the traffic control systems as a fill in for the primary traffic anchor.
The position is infrequent and includes holidays and last minute requests to fill in.
JOB EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS
- Deliver the most up to date traffic information on air and online
- Gather information from all available sources on traffic problems and alternate routes
- Proficient knowledge of Atlanta metro area roads and landmarks is a must
- At least 2 years experience is required
- Proficient in primary social media platforms
