Multi-Media Journalist
Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC) one of the fastest growing Hispanic multi-media companies seeks a Multi-Media Journalist for our Washington, DC television station (Univision affiliate).
Responsibilities
Responsible for, but not limited to, reporting news, special events, gathering information, shooting, writing and editing newsworthy events including breaking news, general news, sports and feature stories relevant to the Washington DC community. Will create web content that complements all platforms. Report, shoot, edit, write and produce packages content. Develop and maintain a network of news sources providing access to exclusive local news stories
JOB EXPERIENCE
Qualifications/Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in a top 50 market television stations as a MMJ
• BA, or equivalent, in Journalism, Broadcasting, Communications and/or related field
• Able to work a Flexible Schedule and Shifts, including nights, weekends and overnights
• Must be willing to work at the station in Washington, DC.
• Must be able to write, shoot and edit video
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
• Have Sound News Judgment
• Advanced computer skills preferred
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to cover a beat
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team to determine the content of a news story from inception to broadcast
• Candidate must have on camera presence and be able to shoot and edit daily new stories and conduct interviews

The Multimedia journalist reports to the News Director.
