  • Able to back up the traffic team with all traffic needs such as reconcile commercial logs, enter copy, enter script and pulling/sending daily reports.

Waterloo Media Group, L.P is a cluster of eight radio stations in Austin, TX including: KLBJ-AM (590), KLBJ-FM (93.7), Lucy (93.3), ACL-Radio (97.1), KROX (101.5), KBPA (103.5), KLZT (107.1), and MEGA 102.7.

Waterloo Media has an immediate opening for a full time Traffic Associate in our traffic scheduling department.  We are seeking a dependable, hardworking and motivated individual with loads of initiative to support our traffic and sales team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Backup for Commercial logs which include front loading, monitoring higher priority spot

placement and watching for client and competitive separation.

  • Approving sales contracts as needed. Checking times, days/ dates, excessive day part fill; overall compliance to ensure contracts are error free. Regular exposure to log prep and contract maintenance. Will help during times when a traffic director is out.
  • Reconcile logs each day for all stations.
  • Enter all commercial copy.
  • Enter weekly and monthly coop for billing.
  • Pulling and sending daily reports.
  • Work accurately and well under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualified Candidates Require:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Able to read operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to present information customers, clients and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Attention to detail, a quick learner and able to work accurately and well under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office and possesses basic data entry skills.
