Report to News Director

Responsible for the final look of the news product on the air

Able to direct and switch a clean, tight and fast paced news show

Organize and mark rundowns

Able to coordinate well with producers, assignment and news operation

Strong technical skills

Brief floor crew before each show

Help produce and direct all news-oriented specials

Able to work in fast paced, high pressure environment

Perform other duties as assigned

Responsible training news technical staff

Broadcast Journalism Degree Preferred

Bilingual (Spanish/English)

TV news production experience required

Strong work ethic, positive attitude & leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and

priorities.

Able to supervise

Must be a self starter with excellent organizational skills

Excellent people and communication skills

Good conflict resolution and problem solving skills

Plan, organize, guide and motivate individuals

Must be able to work Holidays

Must work hours necessary to perform duties as outlined above

If not a citizen of USA, must have permanent work permit
