Houston based KHOU, has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our dynamic and forward-thinking sales team. This is a leadership role that will assist in developing and optimizing sales operations systems and workflow for the sales organization to better serve our customers.  You will use process and technology to create the most effective order management experience.


  • Be an expert in industry software, Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Media Sales, Wide Orbit Central, Wide Orbit Analytics, and Matrix
  • Assist Sales Leaders with yield management and rate compliance to maximize revenue potential
  • Evaluate current workflows maximizing all resources to ensure optimal use of time leading to increased efficiencies
  • Lead training and oversee execution of workflows to achieve operational excellence
  • Lead CRM training database hygiene
  • Create a positive environment for sales team to thrive
  • Onboarding and training of new employees in sales support roles
  • Pull Bi-Weekly Revenue Reports to assist LSM/AE’s with accurate reporting for WOT orders on Enterprise/Digital billing; revise incorrect orders.
  • Pull Daily CIA Flag reports for AM/AE teams for payments that are needed before log deadlines.
  • Manage Under Delivery and communicate priorities to TCO
  • Place and maintain annual contracts for FCC Children’s Report, EAS Test & CBS Promo Swap
  • Place and maintain Station Community contracts
  • Assist in monitoring LUR during political windows
  • Support 1-2 AEs with Account Manager responsibilities




  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in business or marketing
  • 3+ Experience Sales Media
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure
  • Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management
  • Problem solver, ability to multitask
  • High standard of professionalism and accuracy
  • Has a positive outlook and enjoys working in a team environment
  • Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
  • Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
  • Physical Demands Set: Sedentary work: Involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
