Job Summary/Description:

FOX5, KVVU Las Vegas, has a unique opportunity for an experienced newscast producer/writer. Join the #1 station in Las Vegas–and WORK FROM WHERE YOU LIVE. You read that correctly. We've got the technology and support staff, you supply the producing experience and outstanding writing. The successful candidate will be an experienced newscast producer and news writer. This means at least 5 years working in a newsroom environment. You will work with a supervising producer and Executive Producer here at FOX5, writing and producing newscast elements for the Las Vegas market. No beginners–this opportunity is strictly for seasoned news professionals.

JOB EXPERIENCE

Qualifications/Requirements:

? Candidates will have at least 5 years experience as a newscast producer or news writer. Background must include, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or or the equivalent. To work remotely, personal time management and excellent communication skills are essential. No beginners.
