Job Summary:

Assists the promotions or marketing departments with daily activities that promote the station(s), clients or events.

                                                                                                    

Responsibilities:

  • Drive station vehicle to client location

  • Assemble and breakdown station set up at client site to include tents, tables,  flags, and arrange giveaway items

  • Assist station On-Air Personality as needed and give cues as to time restrictions

  • Interact with listeners as well as clients

  • Conduct as becoming a station representative

  • Liaison between client and on-air personality

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

  • Other duties as may be assigned.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of mangers, clients and the general public.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Ability to use standard office equipment (i.e. computer, copier, fax machine). Computer literacy. 

  • Ability to travel extensively to local and regional facilities and promotional events.

  • Appropriate vision needed to drive as required for valid driver’s license.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma (G.E.D) or equivalent from two-year college; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
