Job Summary:

Candidate must be Bi-lingual. Serves as lead contact for all promotional related activities for at least two iHeartMedia brands.

Directs on-air promotional activities, including creative design of promotional assets that maintain and enhance established creative vision and tactical objectives. Partners with Programming & Sales to develop and execute programs to increase listening audience and ratings, enhance brand awareness, loyalty, and increase market share.


  • Works with station management in determining appropriate promotions for targeted demographic.
  • Creating multi-faced brand imaging programs and detailed promotional campaigns.
  • Develops, oversees and executes all promotional and contest initiatives of station(s).
  • Directs on-air promotional activities, including creative design of promotional material that maintain and enhance established creative vision and tactical objectives.
  • Builds and executes unique revenue opportunities that leverage all aspects of the organization’s product offerings for key advertisers and across all media platforms. Candidate should have experience planning and executing events while working with sales and programming as the primary liaison between programming and sales. 
  • Partners with Sales to develop and execute programs to increase listening audience and ratings, enhance brand awareness and loyalty, generate subscribers and increase market share.
  • Ensures campaigns are coordinated with operational and sales initiatives.
  • Ensures appropriate parties are apprised of changes to creative content, schedules and priorities.
  • Uses creativity to fund and/or trade for event giveaways and promotional materials.
  • Helps to implement social media marketing strategy with the focus towards growth of social audiences.
  • Exercises in-depth monitoring and awareness of the competitive landscapes
  • Adjusts programs and campaigns to address changing markets and competitive conditions
  • Builds and manages relationships at all levels to fully understand business and marketing objectives.
  • In some markets, may also have responsibility for maintenance and upkeep of vehicles (e.g., car, van, truck, etc.) used for remote broadcasts.
  • Creates promotion proposals and recaps campaigns.
  • Maintains station event calendar, writes copy for promotional spots, web and social media.  Schedules promotional events, prepares summaries of events, serves as primary coordinator for third party tie-ins for assigned promotions and events, and supervises event staff.
  • Ensures the provision of prizes, promotional materials and event collateral. Create Legal Contest Rules. Ensures contest rules comply with FCC regulations.


  • Must be bi-lingual and fluent in Spanish & English (both verbal and written).
  • Minimum three years’ experience in broadcast marketing, public relations or related field.
  • Knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations related to broadcast marketing.
  • Can work and thrive in high pressured environment with the ability to  multi-task and hit deadlines on time
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and social media platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills: ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
  • High work standards and degree of attention to detail
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Project management from start to finish; assumes responsibility & accountability for assignments and tasks
  • Actively listens; clearly and effectively conveys information; demonstrates effective business writing skills; shows excellent grasp of grammar
  • Exhibits good interpersonal skills; collaborates with others; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations and personalities
  • Excellent driving record
  • Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and lift or move 40-pound objects
