DESCRIPTION
Midwest Family Broadcasting, Northern Indiana, is looking for part-time board operators. For this position, you need to be
an effective team member. You must ensure live, pre-recorded and/or
automated programming runs smoothly. That includes adhering
to commercial logs, screening incoming phone calls in a professional
manner, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Candidates must be reliable, dependable and flexible regarding working hours. You also need experience in the operation of broadcast equipment and basic production skills. The knowledge of Adobe Audition and Wide Orbit is a plus. This position requires the ability to accept direction and be flexible with changes and on-air deadlines. Candidates must communicate well with all co-workers and be able to clearly and accurately receive and interpret
instructions.

JOB EXPERIENCE
Previous Radio experience preferred
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of Adobe Audition, Google radio
automation, Google Docs and Music Master preferred
Radio specific computer software preferred
High School diploma or GED

• On-air show preparation and commercial production
• Fill-in for news as needed
• Assist Operations Manager in programming
• Manage contesting, daily web page content updates and Facebook promotions
• Schedule talent and broad-ops for remotes and keep track of the vacation calendar
• Gather information to create and manage promotional emails for multiple stations
• Record clients, assign spots to talent and assist sales with copy
• Work live broadcasts
