NEWS CENTER Maine, TEGNA's NBC stations in Bangor and Portland, has a full-time opening for a Multi-Skilled Journalist based in Bangor.
We want a smart news hound with a heart. Someone who can enterprise impact stories in the greater-Bangor area for a statewide audience. In this job you will set-up, shoot, write and edit stories daily for broadcast and often wrap them with LIVE shots. In short, we are looking for an aggressive journalist who wants to be the best storyteller, best live reporter, and provide the best social media and web product for the state of Maine.

- Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or similar field
- 1+ years' experience as an MSJ/MMJ (school news gathering and/or internship)
- Experience in videography, editing, and posting to the internet
- Active on Twitter, FB, Instagram, and Snapchat
- Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, and Axis graphics a plus
Travel: Frequent: More than 25
Work Environment Set: Outdoors: performed in various outdoor environmental conditions
Physical Demands Set: Medium work: Involves standing prolong hours, stooping, bending, lifting/pushing up to 25 lbs.
