DESCRIPTION

Audacy Denver has a rare opening for a part-time mixer on KS1075. We are looking for a hard worker who is available for flexible hours and has strong desire to play on a mix show/on air shift for a Rhythmic CHR.

This position requires 2-3 years’ experience as a nightclub DJ, or similar experience and a fundamental knowledge of digital editing. In addition to mixing various hours on the station, duties will include some basic production responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for a rising star to increase your brand in Denver on a top rated station. The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $15.87

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

JOB EXPERIENCE

What You'll Do:

Knowledgeable in digital content creation, active on a variety of social media daily
Must be driven and believe in being part of the community
Creative, compelling, talented, professional, energetic and understand how to deliver great stories
Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
Operate the control board and perform production work
Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
Other duties as required by management?

REQUIREMENTS

Required:

On-air experience
Experience in media or entertainment
Excellent communication and voice skills
Must be available to work weekend shifts
A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

Preferred:

Should possess understanding of FCC policies
Knowledge of promo suite, VCreative, Wide Orbit, Adobe Audtioi a plus
Programming and imaging skills a plus
