KGET, Telemundo and The CW in the Bakersfield CA market are seeking a Local Sales Manager. Geographically nestled in the southern Central Valley of California, just north of Los Angeles, Bakersfield is home to a fast expanding robust economy. This market brings the enticement of residing in California adjacent to beaches and snow-capped mountains, where the affordability of Bakersfield is what drives the Kern County residency.
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to lead the market dominant, legacy news of KGET-NBC, the only local market Spanish newscast on Telemundo and The CW station. Position requires an individual with creativity, leadership skills, high energy and the ability to hire, train and motivate the sales team. An individual who understands ideas are the currency of small business. Multi-platform sales experience and a solid understanding of WO, Matrix and Strata a plus.
