DESCRIPTION

This position will work with all facets of the sales department- Television and Digital – and will have daily interaction with the sales management, account executives, account managers, traffic department and clients. The chosen candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be organized and driven to help the team succeed.  Hybrid schedule available.

Responsibilities:   

  • Assist Director of Sales with Budgetary duties
  • Order input for television and digital
  • Help with Rate Cards
  • Provide a high degree of customer service both internally and externally
  • Maintain timely expense reports / filings for the department
  • Maintain online Political Files
  • Liaison between Sales and Business Office
  • Organize Team outings
  • Coordinate Client entertainment including Tickets
  • Provide overall support to the sales team
  • Serve as backup to other assistants in the department
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multitask
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Some college preferred
  • Experience working in media preferred
  • Knowledge of the Wide Orbit Traffic system a bonus
  • Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
  • Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
  • Physical Demands Set: Sedentary work: Involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
