Job Description/Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have excellent communication, organizational & computer skills. Responsible for making local direct and agency sales for the purpose of generating revenue for the station’s properties, websites, and station events. A proven sales record with emphasis in New Business development and existing business growth. Responsible for selling commercial airtime, event sponsorships, and marketing campaigns. Knowledge of television and radio research, copywriting, servicing of accounts, new business development. Strong negotiating skills a must. Bilingual preferred but not required. Knowledge of TV or radio sales a plus.
Job Requirements/Qualifications: At least 3 years sales experience. Good people skills and familiarity with general Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, and Power Point. Knowledge of Spanish, Hispanic culture, and Spanish media is a plus. Previous experience in media, retail sales, and/or customer service is also desirable.
Must possess a proven track record of accomplishments and have the ability to develop effective sales presentations. Valid driver’s license is required.
