WNEM-TV, a Gray Television station, is looking for a results oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our sales team. This position will work closely with the General Sales Manager and Marketing Director, plus the Sales Team to help meet deadlines, schedule interviews for our integrated sponsorships in our lifestyle newscasts and clearly deploy information about our community franchises and station sponsorships. This is a fast-paced and rewarding career that requires digital and social media marketing experience, exceptional writing skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills and time management.
Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
-Monitor campaign analytics tracking and digital marketing research.
-Measurement and reporting of marketing activities and general website performance utilizing Google Analytics and other tools.
-Collaborate with sales staff, creative services, news, and digital content team to integrate and execute sponsored station promotions.
-Assist with client campaign performance presentations.
-Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Managers to develop digital marketing strategies that generate results.
-Provide administrative support to the Sales Team and Sales Managers.
-Assist in any other periodic marketing projects and tasks as required, including but not limited to lead capturing, scoring, managing/organizing/disseminating marketing collateral, social media copy writing, etc.
Creative, digital savvy, enjoys collaborating and working in a positive, forward-thinking team environment.
– Excellent copy writing and communications skills.
– Social media content management experience.
– Experience executing digital advertising campaigns including display, video, social and email marketing.
– Experience with Google Analytics or other digital marketing analytics tools.
– Proficient with Facebook, Instagram, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
