Do you love doing different things with digital content? Thrive on the “breaking” part of “breaking news”? Are you super-organized, love writing and get a smug look on your face when you beat the competition? Come work for KPNX 12 News, TEGNA's NBC affiliate in Phoenix. Our digital team is called The Herd, and we deliver. Day after day.

We’re the front door for the station, the way people get their news how and when they want it. We want someone who is whip-smart, writes clean and beautiful and wants to make a difference in one of country’s largest – and warmest – markets. If your brain doesn’t stop thinking “I wonder if we could do that…,” we might be the team for you. We operate on all the social networks, have a thriving YouTube channel, create original content and try to make a case everyday that the audience should click, tap or point to us.

We want digital producers who have a sense of urgency and can scour through court records and think about how we can use them to create deeper, more thoughtful coverage. Who can look at a daily story and think “That’s more than it looks like.” We believe that local TV news is the last bastion of community news – and we’ll fight every day to prove it.

We believe in training, career progression and giving you the right tools to grow your career at the same time as doing your job.

Want to run with The Herd? Apply. With a cover letter.
