DESCRIPTION
The Design Tank, Tegna’s award-winning production/design hub based in Denver, CO, is seeking a talented Production Coordinator with strong organizational, project management and communication skills. This unique position offers multiple responsibilities including production coordination between the 64 Tegna television stations, related brands, and the staff of designers and editors at the Tank. The primary function of this position is to provide the daily coordination of creative production requests. This roles moves at a fast pace and works closely with the Design Production Manager, Creative Director, Art Director, Sales Project Manager and staff at our stations across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily production requests
- Facilitate strong communication between clients and staff
- Provide project management oversight for short-term production requests
- Project Management – Short and long term
- Oversee staff scheduling
- Assist with hiring new staff
- Provide basic design assistance
- Assist with internal training plan for staff

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years’ experience in Production Coordination – Design/Editing Preferred
- Working knowledge of project management software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong spelling and grammar skills
- Able to perform under very tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred
- Experience in a broadcast/news environment a plus
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings and occasional holidays
Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
Physical Demands Set: Sedentary work: Involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
Budgeted Compensation Range: $56,000-$62.500 ($27-$30/hr)
