THV11, the TEGNA owned CBS affiliate in Little Rock has an immediate full-time opening for an Administrative Assistant/Research & Programming Coordinator. The ideal candidate will combine highly refined organizational skills along with the ability to coordinate communications with station staff. You will work closely with KTHV’s President and General Manager, submitting expense reports, ordering supplies, prepare for weekly department head meetings and confirm I9 status for new employees. You will also enter and catalogue information into multiple databases related to programs, initiatives, contracts, ratings, digital metrics and more. 

Familiarity with television and programming schedules is a plus, creating PowerPoint presentations and coordinating vendor visits and databases.


  • Assisting with television program schedules, FCC reports, reports to TEGNA corporate, scheduling for the general manager, maintaining and updating databases, answering phones, responding to viewer feedback, ordering supplies, tracking client requests, organizing meetings, taking and distributing notes and other duties as assigned.
  • Daily ratings analysis from Nielsen and ComScore compiled in excel to be distributed to station leadership. Review and Analysis of Scarborough data for discussions and recommendations for internal purposes and for sales opportunities.
  • Duties as assigned by the General Manager 
  • Process mail/invoices/faxes/scans as needed 
  • HR/ Onboarding: maintain the New Hire Check-In Sheet.  Assist staff with onboarding (picture board, bios, help with software/forms, filing expenses, software programs and other with screen shares on Teams and phone calls.           
  • Process I9s: as part of the onboarding process.




  • BA or equivalent degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • 3-5 years experience as an Administrative Assistant and/or media industry
  • Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
  • Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
  • Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
