DESCRIPTION

The Account Executive is a client-facing marketing expert responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing customized advertising strategies. This role partners closely with sales, creative, and operations teams to translate business goals into measurable marketing outcomes. The Account Executive focuses on planning, performance, and optimization across the full customer journey.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
  • Establish credible relationships within our business community.
  • Make sales calls on prospective clients and develop new business.
  • Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients
  • Educate customers on the variety of available TV and Digital products to most effectively promote their products and/or services.
  • Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement on television and digital platforms.
  • Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of market trends and the media landscape for Billings and surrounding areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Function as a trusted marketing strategist and advisor for assigned clients
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client goals, challenges, audiences, and competitive landscapes
  • Design integrated marketing strategies that align broadcast and digital tactics to business objectives
  • Develop clear, insight-driven presentations and campaign recommendations
  • Translate complex marketing concepts into actionable insights clients can understand and apply
  • Strategically apply and optimize digital marketing solutions, including:
    • Search Marketing (SEM & SEO)
    • Programmatic Display & Retargeting
    • Reputation Management
    • Content & Native Advertising
    • Mobile and Cross-Device Targeting
    • Paid Social Media
    • Email Marketing
  • Analyze campaign performance using data and reporting tools; optimize strategies to improve results
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate execution and timely delivery across all platforms
  • Support account growth through insight-led recommendations and performance reviews

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, digital strategy, advertising, or analytics (media experience preferred)
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and digital ad platforms (DFP experience a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred but not required.
